Clay Painting Owl on a Branch

Clay painting owl on a branch step by step. From clay you can create not only three-dimensional crafts, but also works on a plane in the form of collage.

An example of such a craft would be an owl sitting on a branch.

To create such an collage we will use:

  • a set of colored clay;
  • plastic stack;
  • cardboard.

Clay Painting Owl on a Branch Step by Step

First, we roll flagella of different thicknesses and lengths from brown clay. We will form a branch from them.

We connect the prepared flagella together, creating a branch.

We fix it on a sheet of cardboard.

Now we will make an owl. For this, first roll a ball out of orange clay.

Gently flatten it, forming an even flat circle.

To form the owl, we first bend the sides of the circle, making sure that the resulting piece is a little wider at the top. The folded parts will be the owl’s wings.

Then you need to bend the upper part, carefully pulling out the ends. This is the basis for the future owl.

We fix it on a sheet of cardboard, sitting it on a clay branch.

We make the eyes of the owl using balls of white clay and tiny black blanks.
