Glitter Foam Christmas Ornaments

DIY glitter foam Christmas ornaments. A step-by-step review with photos of how you can make a beautiful, shiny decoration for your Christmas tree.

Having glitter foam and a glue gun on hand, you can make original decorations for the Christmas tree. An example of one of them is shown in this master class.

To make this Christmas craft we will prepare:

  • glitter (with glitter) foam in two colors;
  • ruler with toothpick;
  • scissors;
  • a couple of beads;
  • silver braid;
  • glue gun.

Glitter Foam Christmas Ornaments Step by Step

The main blanks for the Christmas tree decoration will be strips cut from glitter foam. Their size is 1.5×8 cm. We will need 5 strips of each color.

Glue blue and silver strips together from one edge.

Then we put one on top of the other. We do it as follows.

Then we secure the strips on the other edge with hot glue.

Let’s use scissors. It is necessary to slightly cut off the corners along the edges of the workpiece. You should get something like this for a Christmas tree toy.

From other strips of foam we make 9 more blanks. When making them, it is important to consider the location of the colors of the material relative to each other.

Now they all need to be connected to each other. Take the glue gun again. Glue should be applied to the top and bottom of adjacent elements.

We glue 5 pieces together in this way.

Let’s prepare silver braid for our Christmas tree decoration. It needs to be threaded through the bead, forming a loop.

It remains to connect 2 groups of blanks together, placing a loop in the upper part between them. And we fasten the second bead in the bottom center.
