This tutorial, a EVA foam flower for beginners, will demonstrate one of the options for creating a flower using foam of different shades.
Foam jewelry is easy to make yourself. In this case, flowers are most often made, which become a decorative element of hairpins or elastic bands.
To make such a flower we will prepare:
- thin foam of pink and lilac color;
- glitter foam;
- ruler;
- scissors with toothpick;
- glue gun;
- decorative half bead.
EVA Foam Flower for Beginners Step by Step
The petals in our flower will be made of pink and lilac foam. Therefore, we first cut out the blanks of these two colors in the form of small squares with a side of 2.5 cm. We make 7 elements of each color.
In our craft, the colors will alternate.
Use scissors to carefully round the edge of the workpieces.
Now we will form the petals. Warm up the glue gun. Apply a narrow bead of hot glue to half of the bottom edge. Then we connect the edges. This is how the petal turned out.
We do the same with the rest of the blanks.
Let’s start forming the flower. Take the glue gun again. Apply a drop of hot glue to the side of the petal, then add a blank of a different color.
So we continue to glue the petals, alternating colors in the chosen order.
We should get such a flower.
We decorate its middle with a decorative half-bead.
Cut out a couple of leaves from glitter foam.
