This origami black cat consists of two parts – a head and a body. But both parts are simple, so making it will not be much effort.
Materials:
- Black paper (double-sided);
- Yellow paper from which the eyes will be;
- Red paper for the butterfly (optional)
- Glue, scissors, black marker.
Origami Black Cat Step by Step
To work, you need two pieces of square-shaped paper. The sizes at will, depending on what size the cat is needed.
Cat Head
Prepare the paper in the shape of a square. Fold it into a triangle.
On the area of triangle, you need to outline the middle. To do this, fold the triangle again.
Open and fold down the top corner, setting it in the center.
Straighten, the first horizontal fold is ready.
Now bend the bottom side up to a horizontal fold.
Return to the starting position, the second horizontal fold is ready.
Fold the triangle into a smaller analog.
Bend the lower right corner to the fold.
On the left side, open the sides, getting to the inside.
Open fully, with the back of the parts should be linked with a folded corner.
Lower the top corner down.
Flip over to the other side, sharp corners up.
Bend the middle corner down.
Flip over to the other side. The cat’s head is ready.
Origami Black Cat Body
Take the second square piece of paper.
Fold the square into a triangle.
Lower the corner of the top layer down.
Flip over to the other side.
Fold the triangle in half.
Turn the back side towards you.
Open a small pocket.
And straighten the corner, while pressing the sides of the pocket.
Turn the sharp corner up and lift the two lower side corners up. The body is ready.
So, we have folded both parts of the cat – the head and body, now the easiest work processes remain.
Glue the head to the body, cut out small circles from yellow paper and glue in the head area, draw the pupil. Add a butterfly if you like. You get such an elegant origami black cat.
