There are many ways how to make paper mushrooms. You can make a craft from scrap materials, application, and – of cause – so popular origami.

Materials:

  • One-sided colored paper, origami paper (one side is red and the other side is white)
  • White paper for circle on the hat
  • Glue stick

Origami Fly Agaric Step-by-Step

Prepare a squire piece of one-sided paper of any size you wish. The smaller child the larger the piece of paper. Position the paper with the colored side up as shown (diamond position).

Fold the paper in half by connecting the left corner to the right to mark a fold line.

Open the paper and crease the sides, aligning them along the central fold.

Flip the model around.

Fold upper corner back and down.

And now, fold it up letting a small corner rise above the model.

To make it open a flap from the left side and press it, aligning the side along the central line.

Then, do the same with the right side of the hat.

Fold the bottom corner of the leg up.

Slightly crease the sides and upper corner to make the hat round.

Flip the model over again, with the face up, cut small white circles, and attach them to the hat with a glue stick.
