How to Make a DIY Paper Tulip?
Making the tulip flower
To make the flower you need colored square paper. I have all sides equal to 12 cm. This size of the tulip is the most optimal. But the choice is yours; you may prefer a small flower or, on the contrary, a large and impressive one.
Fold the square in half, press the side well. Then straighten and fold on the other side, and then from one corner to another and the second corner. You should have visible folds crosswise and diagonally.
Take the scissors and cut from four straight sides along the fold. But you need not cut to the end, but a little more than half.
Well, then start to arrange the flower. For this, cut one side overlap onto the other side.
Do this with all the cut areas, and you get the tulip flower.
Making a stalk
For the stalk you need a rectangle of green paper. Match its length with the flower. I took a standard sheet of A4 paper, cut it across into 3 even parts. Since I was going to make three flowers, I got 3 rectangles, one (wide) side is equal to the narrow part of the paper, and the second one is about 10 cm.
Twist this piece of paper into a narrow tube, starting with the widest part. Glue the end side so that the stem-stalk does not open. Cut one end of the stalk into several strips and fold them outwards. Try on the tulip if the cuts do not protrude too much. Cut off excess paper and trim it.
Glue it to the bottom of the tulip.
