How to Make the Summer Frog Craft
Start by drawing all the shapes you’ll need. On the green paper, draw two circles—one larger and one smaller. These will become the frogs’ heads.
Next, draw two red circles that are slightly smaller than the green ones. Make one larger than the other to match the head sizes. These will become the frogs’ mouths.
Now draw the eye bumps on the green paper. The easiest way is to make them as small circles. You’ll need four in total: two larger ones for the bigger frog and two smaller ones for the little frog.
A compass is helpful for drawing the circles, but you can easily trace round objects or draw them by hand.
On the blue paper, draw a long, narrow strip. This will become the water where the frogs are splashing.

Cut out all the pieces. You should have four eye bumps altogether—two large and two small.

Glue each red circle onto its matching green circle.

Fold both assembled circles in half.

Glue the eye bumps onto the folded heads, making sure the larger pieces go with the larger frog and the smaller ones with the smaller frog.

Now make the water. Fold the blue paper strip into an accordion to create gentle waves. Four or five folds are enough.

Glue the frog heads onto the background paper at a slight angle to give them a playful, lively look. Attach the folded water strip along the bottom edge, trimming it if necessary.
Once everything is glued in place, draw the frogs’ bodies and legs with a green marker. Spread the legs out as if the frogs are happily jumping and splashing in the water. Add small round toe pads to the ends of the feet.
Finish by drawing the frogs’ eyes with a black marker.
