The bunny craft almost entirely consists of strips of paper rolled into rolls. This technique is easy and useful for kids.
For work you will need:
- Double-sided colored cardboard;
- Simple pencil;
- Scissors;
- Glue stick;
- Moving eyes (can be made from circles of black and white paper).
Bunny Craft Step by Step
Since the crafts are based on rolls of paper, for a start we will make them.
Cut two strips of cardboard. Not very thin, but not wide either. You need to proceed from the desired size of the bunny. One of the stripes should be a little thinner and shorter – it will be the head of the hare.
Apply glue to the narrow edges, wrap the strips in a roll and glue the sides.
Glue the small roll onto the larger one.
Prepare the small parts of the bunny:
- Draw and cut out the ears;
- Thin stripes for paws and tail.
Fold all the strips into rings, one of which should be the smallest – for the tail.
Glue the ears on the head, and one ear can be turned down a little with a pencil. Attach a small tail ring at the back, two larger ones in the middle to display the front paws of the hare. Squeeze the largest rings a little and glue them from below. After gluing the hind legs, the craft will take a stable vertical position. The slope can be varied by squeezing the paws, that is, the narrower the rings are from below, the smoother the bunny looks on the surface.
Give your character a face. To do this, you can cut out two circles from paper, as well as a white and red stripe with rounded edges, which will be the mouth and nose. Older kids can make mustaches by cutting thin strips from black cardboard.
Glue the details of the muzzle together.
Finish the craft by gluing on the muzzle, eyes, and optional mustache.
