A sheep craft that is easy and quick to make with your own hands. A great craft for children that helps develop fine motor skills.
You will need:
- White, pink, and green paper;
- A little white cardboard;
- Blue cardboard for the base;
- Scissors;
- Glue;
- A black marker;
- Googly eyes (store-bought, drawn, or made from paper).
Step-by-Step Sheep Craft
This cute sheep has an interesting 3D effect created by its spring-like neck. At the beginning, draw a circle on white paper for the sheep’s body, then sketch the wool for the head and a cloud to decorate the sky. Draw the head and one ear on pink paper, and grass on green paper. Feel free to experiment with the wool on the head — your sheep can have any hairstyle you like.

Carefully cut out all the pieces. You will need two ears, and two or three clouds, depending on your preference. To cut several identical pieces at once, fold the paper several times.

Separately cut out a small strip of white cardboard. We will use it to make the sheep’s neck, which creates the 3D effect.
You can also try making a sheep using the quilling technique.
Fold the strip like an accordion. To do this, bend the edge, smooth the fold slightly, then turn the strip over and make another fold. The neck should not be too long — about two folds is enough. If there is any extra part that makes the neck too high, trim it with scissors.

Make the sheep’s face. Glue the ears to the head, and place the wool on top of them. Add the eyes, then use a marker to draw the nose and mouth. The expression can be anything: in our example the sheep looks cheerful, but yours can be lazy, thoughtful, or even grumpy. Make your character unique.

Finish the craft. Glue the sheep’s body onto the base sheet, and place the green grass over the lower edge of the body. Exactly in the center, on the lower part of the body circle, attach the accordion strip that will serve as the neck. Glue the head on top. Add the curly clouds. You can also decorate the craft with flowers, butterflies, birds flying in the distance, or any other details you like.

Another idea for this animal is a paper accordion sheep craft.
And here is our lovely sheep craft! It stands peacefully in the meadow, chewing tasty grass.
