The simple craft we have proposed will certainly be appreciated by girls. In today’s tutorial we will show you how to create a toy mirror from scrap materials.
To make such a mirror we will use:
- colored cardboard;
- white paper;
- a simple pencil with scissors;
- foil;
- glue gun;
- multi-colored rhinestones and flower-shaped sequins.
How to Make a Mirror — Main Steps
First we will make a template from plain white paper. To make it even, draw a mirror, then fold the sheet in half and cut it out. We apply the finished template to the wrong side of the cardboard and trace it with a simple pencil.
Next we will use scissors. Cut out the resulting base of the craft.
Now we need foil. You can use either baking foil or take it from chocolate. We draw an oval on it, which will be slightly smaller than the size of the top of the mirror, and then cut it out. We will secure this foil using a glue gun. Apply hot glue along the edge and then apply it to the cardboard.
All that remains is to decorate our craft. We will use multi-colored rhinestones and shiny sequins in the form of flowers. First we glue the large rhinestones.
