Origami Seahorse Step by Step
Prepare square paper. In this work, decorative paper for origami was used – 15:15 cm.
Fold the square into a triangle to mark the fold.
Turn the paper so that the fold is vertical and fold the sides towards it. Right.
And also center the left side of the paper.
Flip over to the other side.
Fold the bottom corner over to the top.
Flip over to the other side again.
Here you can see, let’s say conditionally, two pockets. Expand the right pocket with your finger.
And then point its corner down and align the side in the center. Hold it down.
Do the same with the left pocket.
In the upper part we have two layers of sharp corners. Pull the corner of the top layer and lower down, creating a diamond shape.
Fold the rhombus in half, bending the right corner to the left.
From two sides we can see branches that will be the fins of the seahorse. Bend the fin up and slightly obliquely.
Turn over to the other side and bend the fin in the same way.
Now let’s move on to the head. Open the paper at the top corner and fold the corner to the right, placing the fold in the middle.
Open the valves in the head area.
Bend the tip of the nose to the outer part of the left side.
Bend it back, making a small fold.
And bend the very tip to the left again.
Close the sashes. The head is ready.
Let’s move on to the tail. Bend it to the right, smooth the fold well.
Open the sides and redirect the fold of the tail inward. Close the sides.
Bend up the very tip of the tail. Mark the fold by carefully pressing it.
Open this area a little and redirect the fold inward.
Glue the eyes, cut and glue the fins. Everything, the origami seahorse is ready.
