Step-by-Step Paper Tree Craft
The crown of this tree is decorated with fruit. You can decide what kind of fruit to make: apples, pears, peaches, oranges, or any other fruit you like. You can also create a flowering tree by replacing the fruit with flowers. Or make an autumn tree by using yellow, red, or orange paper for the crown and gluing leaves instead of fruit. You can even make a birch tree by replacing the brown trunk with a white one decorated with black stripes. Experiment and create the perfect tree to suit your taste!
In our example, we are making a pear tree. To begin, draw the leaves and grass on green paper, a long strip for the trunk on brown paper, pears on yellow paper, and an eye on white paper (if you choose to make the eyes from paper instead of using store-bought ones).

Cut out all the pieces along the outlines. You will need two eyes and two to four fruits, depending on their size. To cut several identical pieces at once, fold the paper several times or place one sheet on top of another.

Take the trunk piece and fold its edges inward, then bend it in the center.

Decorate the trunk by gluing on the eyes and drawing a smile with a red marker. If you do not have a red marker, use a black one instead.
Older children can use this idea and template to create a beautiful 3D tree.

Shape the trunk by overlapping the folded edges of the strip and gluing them together.

Glue the trunk onto the grassy base.

Now move on to the crown. Glue the pears onto the leaves and use a black marker to draw stems on the fruit.

Attach the crown to the trunk to complete the craft.
