Bunny in the Garden Bed Craft – Step by Step
Our bunny, which can wobble like a roly-poly toy, is made from simple shapes. Draw a circle on the green cardboard—this will be the garden bed and the base of the craft. On white cardboard or thick paper, draw a smaller circle for the bunny’s head, as well as an ear and a paw. On pink paper, draw the inner part of the ear and an oval nose. Instead of pink paper, you can use reddish paper for a brighter, more unusual look. Draw a carrot on orange paper and its leafy top on green paper.

Cut out all the pieces. You will need two of each: ears (with pink inserts), paws, carrots, and leaves. To make them even and identical, fold the paper in half and cut both pieces at once.

Fold the green circle in half to form a standing semicircle. This piece can rock back and forth like a roly-poly toy without tipping over.

Glue the pink inner parts onto the ears, then attach the ears to the back of the head. Glue the eyes and nose onto the face, and then draw a smile. You can give the bunny any expression you like—it can be happy, sly, or even grumpy; any version will look fun. Draw small toes on the paws.

Glue the head to the back side of the semicircle and the paws to the front, so it looks like the bunny is peeking out from behind the garden bed. Attach the green leaves to the carrots, then glue the carrots onto the semicircle so they appear to be “growing” in the garden. Instead of carrots, you can cut out other vegetables and add extra leaves or bushes.
