A felt fish is a easy craft for kids. This is an excellent creative activity from materials that are pleasant for tactile sensations – felt and pompom.
What can make a child happy? In most cases, new toys cause positive emotions in a baby. But it is not always worth going to the store for them. Often some of them can be made by hand. For example, the fish presented in this tutorial is easily made from a pompom and felt.
You will need:
- blue and red felt;
- ready-made large pompom;
- decorative eyes;
- glue gun;
- scissors.
Felt Fish Step by Step
A toy made from these materials will be voluminous. And we will achieve this by using a large pom-pom, which must first be cut in half. As a result, we get 2 hemispheres, this will be the body of the future fish.
Next, you need to make the basis for the craft. In our case, it will be made of blue felt. But first, it is better to draw a fish pattern on paper or cardboard, and then transfer it to felt. When drawing the outline of the fish, you should focus on the size of the finished pompom, the base of the fish should be slightly larger than its diameter.
Cut out the base of the fish from the blue felt.
Now you need to use a glue gun. We first glue one orange hemisphere onto a blue felt blank.
Add an eye to the fish.
For the mouth, we need to cut out a blank from red felt that looks like a small heart.
Glue it to the front of the fish.
It remains to glue the second orange hemisphere and a decorative eye on the back of the craft. Felt fish is ready.
