Materials:
- Colored paper or decorative square shape. Colored paper or square origami decorative paper. An interesting option is double-sided paper, thanks to which you can highlight the stern and sails with a color or pattern.
Origami Sailboat Step by Step
Prepare the paper in the shape of a square. Sizes can be any, this option is 15:15 cm.
Fold the square into a triangle.
Open the paper and fold into a rectangle.
Then open and fold back into a rectangle, joining the other two sides.
As a result of these manipulations, we will have 3 folds on the paper area.
Connect the top and bottom corners in the center.
Fold in half, bringing the top and bottom sides together.
Return to the previous shape by opening the sides.
Redirect the horizontal fold on the left outward.
Then squeeze and point up along with the bottom.
In the same way, turn inside and redirect the right corner up.
Lower the left sail.
And then immediately lift up, making a small crease.
Hide the fold inside.
Fold the bottom corner up.
Flip over to the other side, the origami sailboat is ready. Thanks to the bent corner at the bottom, the sailboat can be kept on the surface in a vertical position.
