This origami snail is ideal for children’s creativity. It is very easy to make it, and the result is a bright and cute creature loved by many children.
The materials you will need:
- Some double-sided colored paper of the desired color for the snail (beige, orange, brown, yellow);
- Some paper or cardboard for the antennae with the eyes. Color is also an option; it can be slightly lighter than the body or the same;
- The black and red markers, scissors.
How to make the origami snail?
Prepare a square piece of paper of any size.
Fold the paper in a triangle, connecting the opposite corners.
Pull the right corner up, connecting it with the upper corner of the triangle.
Make a fold, and then immediately direct the same corner to the side, aligning it with the right fold of the triangle.
Turn the part upside down towards you.
Fold up the right corner. Smooth down the fold. The work is almost complete. You need to make only small details.
Cut out two antennae with eyes. It may be easier for small children to do this separately: first, cut off two thin strips, and then two circles. Then glue the circles to the strips.
Glue the antennae to the top of the right corner.
Draw the snail spiral on the body, a smile and the eyes. The origami snail is ready.
