Step-by-Step Tulip Bouquet Craft
For this craft, in addition to green paper for the stem, you will need paper in 2–3 different colors. The tulip bud and bow can be either the same color or different shades. Choose any colors you like: the tulip and bow can be pink, red, orange, or white, while yellow or light blue works well for the bouquet base. Make sure the base color differs from the bow and flower colors so they stand out clearly. If you prefer a minimalist look, you can skip the bow altogether.
In our example, the tulip bud and bow are orange, and the bouquet base is yellow.
First, draw a stem and leaf on the green paper. On the orange paper, draw a heart shape that will become a tulip petal and, if desired, a bow.

Cut out all the pieces. You will need three heart-shaped petals. To cut them quickly and evenly, fold the paper into three layers before cutting.

Fold each heart in half, creating a crease down the center.

Glue the stem and leaf onto the bouquet base. Do not attach the entire stem to the base—the bottom end should extend beyond it.

Glue one heart-shaped petal to the attached stem with the pointed end facing upward.
Do you enjoy making this spring flower? Here’s a simple way to make a tulip out of paper.

Take the two remaining heart-shaped petals. Apply glue to one half of each petal and attach them, pointed ends facing upward, to the petal already fixed in place. This will form the tulip bud.

Fold the bouquet base and glue its edges together, wrapping it around the flower to create a bouquet.

If you cut out a bow, glue it onto the bouquet. It complements the design beautifully and adds a special touch to the craft. If you prefer, you can use a real ribbon instead of a paper bow.

Your colored paper tulip bouquet is now complete! It looks bright and attractive, yet it is simple to make. Even a preschool-aged child can create this lovely craft.
